5. Back on the road
... my sweet dream doesn't end here ...
On the May weekend of 2009 Austin made his first headline festival appearance as a guitar instrumentalist with a performance at The Doonbeg Jazz Festival . Later his Oct 1st concert at The Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, U L Limerick was highly acclaimed . ( see Concert and Album reviews ) In 2010 Austin performed at a number of festivals including The Ballydehob Jazz Festival in May and was a guest of The Limerick Songwriters at the Locke Bar Limerick on June 10th. This was his second singing gig of the year ,having performed his Camino De Santiago music for the St James Society in Dublin in January. Recording a new album is scheduled for 2011 plus some concert dates starting with Feb.11th at The Irish World Academy ,U L Limerick with bassist Joe Mulcahy.-
