5. Back on the road
... my sweet dream doesn't end here ...
In Oct. 2003 Austin
played 5 concerts at the Cork Jazz Festival. In 2004 he continued to do
instrumental performances including a concert at the Plearaca Festival
Connemara, Ireland and one in Santiago, Spain. In Oct. 2004 he made his first
appearance as a guitarist on Irish TV when he performed Algun Dia Chile from Dreams And Soft Guitars on Soisceal
Pharaic (TG4).
Austin has since been performing regularly with a steel strung , a Spanish and more recently a jazz guitar . He will perform 3 concerts in Milano ,Oliver Plunkett St ,Cork on Oct.25th ,26th and 27th 2008 during the Cork Guinness Jazz Festival . His programme consisting of originals and standards will feature music from the new album A Guitar Journey.
